Gaithersburg Winter Lights

I was tasked to create a 60 second Radio Commercial for the Gaithersburg Winter Lights Festival. I wrote the script, gathered all the sounds, selected a voice actor, recorded in studio, edited, and produced this work.

Afterwards, I decided to turn it into a video animation using graphics and photographs. I also added some sound effects. Many of the photos are from my last trip to the festival. I edited the graphics in Illustrator to cut out the window areas so to see through the car. All in all, I used adobe:

  • Audition - recording and mixing audio

  • Lightroom - photography

  • Photoshop - photography

  • Premiere - animation, video composition, snow effect, mixing final audio

  • After Effects - titles

  • Illustrator - graphic illustrations
